Christina McKnight is another of my favorite authors. Her books always keep me riveted, and I have a very hard time putting them down to deal with life outside of books. “The Thief Steals Her Earl (Craven House, Series Book 1)” is an awesome story that did just that, and has me anxious to read the next story in the series.
In contrast to the first book in this boxed set, Christina has shown that sex is not necessary for romance (or in other words, sex and romance are not as synonymous as people have come to believe over a period of time). There is absolutely NO sex in this book, which after the first book, I found to be an absolute relief. (Thank you, Christina)
This story was originally published as a stand alone 15 Jul 2016. It is full of adventure (and misadventures of misguided youth), family betrayal, adversity, awkwardness, and mystery. This is REAL ROMANCE at it’s best.
Using the Amazon star rating I give this book in the box set (and the stand alone) five stars (plus bonus stars for proving my point).
